Nice, has implied personality, where kind indicates a deeper level of action, compassion, and empathy. Many "nice" people seem to be nice to others selfishly, for an egocentric response from others. Kind people, are aware of the needs of others, and have actions that go beyond polite behavior.

The Difference between Being Nice and Being Kind, Kindness emerges from someone who's confident, compassionate and comfortable with themselves. A kind person is loving and giving out of the goodness.

The truth is, the difference between nice vs kind is night & day. "Nice" is a self-centered behavior pattern, where you are acting in a "pleasing" manner, to "be a nice person," and get people to like you.

Kind is person who does kind things without the hope of getting recognition. Nice is the person who needs recognition in order to feel they did nice things. Nice is the friend who tells you that they think your significant other is great even though they know otherwise. Kind is the friend who tells you the truth even if it means hurting you.

In reality, we use nice and kind interchangeably without knowing the difference between them. Even today, many people have a misconception that both these terms are the same. But, it's not; because it is nice vs kind. If we look at the definition of 'kind' then it is generous, helpful, thinking about other people's feelings.

Here at ElitePartner we believe integrity is key, further believe being kind is part of one’s integrity, one’s character. Being kind is one of the core elements of successful and fulfilling relationships. We encourage you to do a little research. We liked this reference: Kind | Definition of Kind at Dictionary.com

We believe kind people are for others genuinely. At its most basic, kindness is about caring genuinely for others around you, wanting the best for them, and recognizing in them the same wants, needs, aspirations, and even fears that you have too. Kindness is warm, resilient, patient, trusting, loyal, and grateful. One should always leave people, places and things in as good state or better state than when you found them. Love: a person toward whom love is felt, or beloved person, possibly a sweetheart.

While kindness has a connotation of meaning someone is naive or weak, that is not the case. Being kind often requires courage and strength. Kindness is an interpersonal skill.

Kind people are usually strong people. Have a strong sense of self-worth (not self-centered), think of others before themselves, and are most often giving on themselves and their stuff like: money, possessions, and their time.

A great example is one of my aunts. She is a massage therapist with training in lymphatic drainage amongst other things. She has her own clinic and does well. Some patients are not able to afford the care they need, so some of her time is spent treating them as low or no cost. During gatherings with family and/or friends she spends time helping those that need it.

Most kind actions are driven by Love. But does not always mean they are nice. It is important to know the difference!
