What lives Beyond the makeup?

Everyone looks in the mirror form time to time, so they know how they appear.

Most only see today, a snapshot of the people they meet. They slept in because they were helping a friend or completing a project all night, so the next day they may not be at their best. Maybe the makeup isn’t quite right, or their hair is messy in the back, or missed a spot shaving,,, well you get the point.

Our lives are so busy we become superficial by nature. We rush to say hi, just pleasantries. We notice imperfections quickly. Basically grading people as they pass by. They look cute, pretty, beautiful, handsome, or not. Rarely noticing much past the cloths and appearances. We meet so many people each day during our daily commute to and from work. Meetings after meetings during the day. Rushing to dinner, catch-up on a few personal things, many be a few others if there’s time, and do it all again the next day.

When was the last time you saw a profile on the dating site and competed the initial analysis of the person simply on the 1 to 2 seconds a glimpse of the face past by?

While it is important to have some attraction at first glimpse if you’re in a rush to meet people. Maybe a little more attention on your profile details and what you search for could help narrow the field a little, leaving more time for those the system helped select. Read the available details, imagine what a first encounter may feel like. Exciting as you make plans, dress up a little, select a meeting place, planning some of your initial conversations. What will you share about your life and experiences?

What do you want to know about the person you meet, without be a drill sergeant!

Preparation and planning is key for success. Much like a dinner party, rarely is one successful without effort.
